		*Potomac Pool Service* offers a full range of swimming pool services, from one stop real estate Inspections, to full year round turn-key maintenance, to total swimming pool renovation.Given the broad array of individual services available, combined with the unique design and demands of each individual pool, we have tried to outline on this site the basic products and services that will cover the majority of residential swimming pool needs. We will contact you to discuss your individual service needs, and create an appropriate service plan. *PACKAGES* Presidential Full Service Our most complete level of service, this includes our Spring Opening 2 and Fall Winterization, weekly service between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and all chemicals required to keep the pool water balanced during the summer season. In addition we will provide 2 winter inspections of your pool facility. This turnkey service will keep your pool clean, clear, and blue, leaving you free to enjoy it all season long. This package saves $250 over our individual pricing.* Congressional Open/Close This includes our Spring Opening 2 and Fall Winterization. In addition we will provide one winter inspection of your pool facility. This package saves $125 over our individual pricing. *INDIVIDUAL OPENING SERVICES* Spring Opening 1 • safety cover removal • filter reassembly • filter/pump start up • debris removal from decks • on-site water analysis Spring Opening 2 All items from Opening 1 plus • pool vacuuming (up to 1 hour) • waterline tile cleaning • re-installation of ladders, dive board ADDITIONAL ITEMS Heater inspection and initial ignition (Required for all pools with gas-fired heaters to ensure safe and efficient operation). If a return trip is required to actually start heater, a second trip charge of $50.00 will apply. It is recommended that you have all natural gas turned on and, where applicable, propane tanks filled to avoid second trip charges. Water bag cover removal, water and debris removal We will remove the cover, empty the water bags, clear the cover of any debris and scrub it down, before folding and storing it on the customers property. Solid or Mesh Safety Cover Sales and Installation Step up to the superior aesthetics, ease of use, and safety of a grommet safety cover. Drain and Cleaning Sometimes a full drain and acid wash of pool is required to remove stubborn stains from an improperly winterized pool. In a residential environment, a drain and clean with an acid washing of the pool will rarely, if ever, be required. Careful and complete winterization will allow the pool to be filled and started year after year. In the event of major repair work requiring draining of the pool,improper chemical treatment for the winter, or the lack of a high quality cover, staining may occur that can only be removed through a thorough drain and clean. Our inspections are unbiased appraisals of the each major part of the swiiming pool, and will show estimated age of item, remaining lifespan, and estimated cost to replace. Winter Inspection** Winter can be a very damaging season for a swimming pool. Water that seeps into the wrong place and then freeezes can bend steel and pulvarize concrete. The wieght of snow, ice and debris can tear or shift a pool cover.A solid preventive maintenance plan includes winter inspections to catch damaging situations before they take their toll.
